Frequently asked questions
Where are my documents stored?
Only on your phone, inside Stashify. We have no servers and never receive your documents. To keep a copy somewhere else, choose a backup folder in Settings › Data.
How do I restore Stashify Plus on a new phone?
Open Stashify, tap Profile › Stashify Plus › Restore purchases, while signed in to Google Play with the Google account you bought Plus with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In Stashify go to Settings › Plus › Manage subscription, or open the Play Store app › Profile › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › Stashify. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Google Play. See Google Play refunds.
I forgot my DigiLocker PIN.
For your security the PIN is never stored, only a one-way hash, so it cannot be recovered. If fingerprint unlock for DigiLocker is on, you can still open it with your fingerprint and set a new PIN in Settings › Security.
I deleted a document by mistake.
Open Search (or Settings › Data) and tap Recently deleted. Documents are kept there for 30 days before they are shredded for good.
How does Declutter work?
With Stashify Plus, scan up to 100 pages in one go. Stashify reads each page on your phone, groups pages that belong together, and suggests a section and subsection for each document. You review everything before it is filed.
How does Stashify sort without the internet?
Stashify reads the words on each page on your phone and uses built-in rules to suggest where each document belongs. Nothing is uploaded.
How do I switch to the classic wooden wheel?
With Plus, go to Settings › Plus and turn on Classic mode.
